Kimori Family Clan Update
Meanwhile Ryuu ran into his long lost half-brother Kaito Kimori. The clan now takes care of him and protects him from the agents of the Empire. Their days of hunting down Kaito are over.
We are always happy to welcome new and old Kimori into the clan, but sometimes it can be saddening as well. The bitter memories of our betrayal and the costly sacrifice that followed as the Empire was brought down upon us, have left scars too deep for outsiders to understand.
As the Kimori clan grows, so will our power. And one day we will not hesitate to strike back and redeem our former homelands. To claim again what was ours. Until then, however, we wish our enemies interesting times.

Kimori Family Clan Update
With the addition of Valdulech, maid of the Kimori household and lover of her manly barbarian Uhr, the family tree has grown a bit more.
The second part is the first effort to portray the more advancing, complicated relations within the clan. The current effort shows the relation between the council members and those who serve the clan - and are therefore Kimori - but do not have any bloodties (yet) with the family. These are listed under the Special Forces section.
We are now awaiting the second effort, which will hopefully make a lot more sense. So stay tuned!

Kimori Family Clan Update
Arrein Kimori has joined the family, he's the property of Kyoshi. Nonetheless, give him a very warm welcome into the family and behold his exciting tale of how it came to pass:
Flames sparked into being as a match was lit. With precision it moved to the end of the cigar. A few second later smoke started to rise up towards the ceiling of the casino. Arrein O' Pianos grinned at the lady across the table. Her black hair was elegantly pinned up and contrasted with her white outfit. The white silk gloves firmly held the cards, while her agatean eyes looked back over them at the thief.
"I raise once more. 40 Genuan ducats." He tossed some coins on the growing pile at the center of the table.
She smiled politely and nudged the man standing next to her, who started shoving the right amount of coins towards the pile for her.
"You know," he took a sip from his beer, "today is my lucky day. Which means, I am going to get lucky..." He smiled a vile smile at her.
"You are starting to run out of coins, mister O'Pianos," said the girl.
"I could always get some new ones. Money is the least of *my* worries." His eyes locked with her. "If you know what I mean." He winked.
She chuckled. "I'm a Pishe priest, darling. My fate is in her hands. The stakes have been set, it's time to call the cards."
He grinned widely and displayed the cards in front of him. They were indeed a magnificant set. He leaned back. "So, what time do you..."
She lowered her hand and her cards were pressed on top of his. "I believe this combination is 1 point higher than yours, isn't it?" He blinked.
"That can't be.... impossible," he muttered.
"What is impossible, mister O'Pianos?" she politely asked.
"The cards... I..." he stuttered.
"...counted them," she finished his sentence. "And you also hid three of them in your left sleeve, another in your jacket and I saw an ace tugged away in your collar, mister O'Pianos. Is there anything you wish to explain to these fine genuan gentlemen in suits who have been so keen to observe us and ensured that everyone at the table followed the same rules?"
There was a stunned silence at the other side of the table.
"Excellent. Then you are now mine. Shut your mouth, stand up and follow me." As she spoke, she rose from her chair. "Please put the money on my account," she told the dealer. She left the table, but after a few feet turned towards Arrein again. "Come along now."
The thief grumbled and followed her example, keeping an eye on the 'genuan gentlemen' as he did so. Options of escape seemed few if none and appearantly he lost more today than just a few coins.
"Are you coming or not?" asked Kyoshi impatiently as she waited for the trickster. She tapped her foot as he approached.
"Right, where to milady?" The sarcasm was kept close with its razor sharpness for entertaining purposes.
"Well mister Arrein, I own you now. I will break you and then reforge you as I see fit." She paused. "Into a true Kimori."

Kimori Family Clan Update
Greetings beloved Kimori,
Today my lovely kitten Kyoshi has finished her three month research in the Ephebian Religious Library. Although she found a pile of new manuscripts on Pishe, she also encountered several documents indicating a younger sister of my father had travelled to Ephebia. The young priest went there to enrich herself. We are not entirely sure what happened at the time, but we did track down her daughter. None other than Llia Kimori.
With much love and happiness we have welcomed her back into the fold.
Cuddles and hugs for our Llia Kimori, cousin of Kyoshi, Ekki, Yva, Laule, Yossarianna, Oli, Eliza, Taiki, Myr and Azile. Neice of Keiichi and Ikke. Aunty to Uhr, Aremen, Carasel and Hidan.

Kimori Family Clan Update
Uhr is very thrilled to be back in the folds of the family. His response to it clearly showing blood relation to the other warriors in our family:
Uhr says 'Uhr has kitty?'
And then we found out Taiki and Myr's older brother was still alive. Retired and living in Pumpkin town, but alive nonetheless. His name is Azile Kimori and he spends his days painting model birdcages and enjoying light rainfall. A warm welcome for him as well.
Azile Kimori is the brother of Myr, Taiki and Eliza. The uncle of Hidan, Carasel, Uhr and Aremen and cousin of Oli, Yossarianna, Laule, Yva, Ekki and Kyoshi. He's the nephew of Ikke and Keiichi.

Kimori Family Clan Update.
After a long leave of absence, Yossarianna Kimori's brother, Oli Kimori returned to Genua from a 'business' trip and was soon informed about the restored family. It didn't take him long to get back into contact and join the proud Kimori ranks once more and strengthening their position in Genua.
So, greetings and a warm welcome for Oli Kimori, Mugger of the Thieves Guild. Brother of Yossarianna, Cousin of Taiki, Eliza, Dracania, Myr, Yva, Kyoshi, Dheroan and Ekki, Nephew of Ikke and Keiichi.
---
It appears our beloved Eliza finally hooked up with a man of her likings! In private ceremony she handpicked and married him. According to Kyoshi, who was around at the time, it was the swiftest wedding she had ever seen, pointing out that Eliza, as usual, does and gets precisely what she wants.
Everyone welcome Aferon Kimori, Cutpurser of the Thieves Guild. Husband of Eliza. Brother-in-law to Taiki, Dracania and Myr.
Let's hope this marriage lasts for a long and happy time!

Kimori Family Clan Update.
They that love beyond the forest cannot be separated by it.
Death cannot kill what never dies.
Nor can spirits ever be divided, that love and live in the same divine principle, the root and record of their blood.
If absence be not death, neither is theirs.
Death is but crossing the world, as family do the seas;
they live in one another still.
For they must needs be present, that love and live in that which is omnipresent.
In this divine glass they see face to face;
and their converse is free, as well as pure.
This is the comfort of family, that though they may be said to die, yet their family and kin are, in the best sense, ever present, because immortal.
- Engraved on the headstone of the grave of Akiko Hana Miyuki Kimori. Mother of Hidan Kimori.
Taiki firmly held his helmet under his arm, while his messy hair was blown apart by the wind. Around him stood Eliza, Dracania, and Myr. They were accompanied by Kyoshi, Yossarianna and Ikke. All of them looked down at the fresh grave they had dug a couple of hours before.
Not every search is fruitful and not every found fruit is searched.
The Kimori had laid to rest, in honour, their missing older sister. Whatever fate had held in store for her was still unknown. All they knew is that someone had murdered her and dumped her - so long ago - in a mass burial grave, in the hopes of hiding their tracks. Whoever had done this crime, had erred. Taiki had found out and the warrior was furious about it.
He was not the only one.
As they gave their respect for the final time to their long lost and loved sister, they turned and studied their new relative.
"What's your name kid?"
- "Hidan."
"Hidan who?"
- "Hidan Kimori."
"Never forget that, kid. Never forget the roots you were born from."
- "Hidan."

Kimori Family Clan Update.
Send forth a warm welcome to the latest addition of the family: Kyoshi Kimori and Ekki Kimori.
They are the children of notorious alcoholic beverage consumer, party-person and turbulant flirter: Ikke Kimori.
The man who goes through life as an adventurer, succeeded in conceiving a twin with one of his favourite women. (She's most likely his favourite due to being the only one giving and wishing to give him children.)
Due to a strange twist of fate (or perhaps Ikke's lifestyle) all of his children attained Priesthood.
The twin is no exception in this: Kyoshi chose for Pishe and Ekki chose for Sek. Thus the Kimori family keeps expanding.
---
Kyoshi Kimori, Kimorian Priestess of Pishe, Kimori Taxi: The twin-sister of Ekki, sister of Dheroan and Yva. Child of Ikke, niece of Keiichi and cousin to Yossarianna, Eliza, Dracania, Taiki and Myr.
Ekki Kimori, Kimorian Priest of Sek, Pumpkin Town Terror, Village Drunk: The twin-brother of Kyoshi, brother of Dheroan and Yva. Child of Ikke, nephew of Keiichi and cousin to Yossarianna, Eliza, Dracania, Taiki and Myr.

down on your luck, raiding the casino
So, newbie, strapped for cash, no skills yet, now what?
One of the most lucrative things i've found that don't require killing is selling of the scraps that other people leave on their corpses.
Yesterday evening, bombing at the tables of the casino. Down on my luck and had to cover my steeply increasing bets. Suddenly the atmosphere changed as a group of warriors burst in and started killing off guards around me. Quickly, clenching my last chips, I hid under the table. The hand passed, the warriors left. I looked at the two chips and placed them on the table. "I'll be back," I said to the dealer, "deal me in". Still shaking on my feet I found some loot dropped by one of the warriors. Hurrying to a general store to get back before the blinds hit me I sold it and ran back to the casino.
Second hand after I sat back down, I go all in and triple up. 2 more hands pass and I blew 4 guys off the table with a fullhouse.
Don't feel proud about picking up the garbage from others, but damned if I won't do it again!

Kimori Family Clan Update.
Welcome to the latest addition of our family: Keiichi Kimori. The twin brother of Ikke and uncle to Dheroan, Yva, Yossarianna, Eliza, Dracania, Taiki and Myr. He's a Kimorian Cutpurse of the Thieves' Guild and the first Kimori to live life as a Djelian.
You may wonder, how come that an Agatean ended up as a Djelian? Well, there's a very simple explanation for that. As you all know, Ikke was the only brother of Lord Kimori to be born on Ankh-Morpork soil. This thanks to a diplomatic mission at the time. He was however not the only child born that day. There was another one. The birth of one child of agatean nobility that was born outside agatea was horrible enough, the fact that it were two was an outright disaster. So the officials did what any good official would do, they messed around with the numbers and claimed only one was born. The administrative chaos that followed, resulted in Keiichi being barred from returning to Agatea and put up for adoption by mistake.
Keiichi Kimori was then adopted by an old Djelian couple. This elderly couple mistook his tinted skin as djelian heritage and brought him home with them. And so he happily grew up as a djelian citizen, until one day he found his way back into the arms of Kimori.
During Taiki's stay in Djelibeybi, where he learned the local language, the two ended up talking and discussing swords and the Kimori family after Taiki mistook him to be Ikke. Although quite similar in looks, they are of course two separate individuals.
And so the line of Kimori unfolds itself, unexpectadly, towards Klatch.

Kimori Legion of the Leaf
Kimori Legion of the Leaf is led by the heroic Taiki Kimori and features such renowned names as Yossarianna Kimori and Ikke Kimori.
Kimori's uniting to train with each other. Together with his uncle and cousin, Taiki set out in the afternoon. They walked from Ankh Morpork to Ford Pekan and, as Ikke said, they mowed down everything that came onto their path.
The operation was such a success, that it is very likely that such operations between family members will occur more often in the near future.

Kimori Family Clan Update.
Give warm welcome greetings to the latest addition of the family: Yossarianna Kimori. (Or as her cousins already like to call her: Yossa-chan) She is the first Kimori born on Genuan soil to find the way back to the family.
Yossarianna returned to the warm embrace of the family thanks to Taiki Kimori's travels. Together with his good friend Aell von Glitz, he went to the swamplands city of Genua. Once there, their ways parted and his two-day visit was brutually disturbed by the local city guards. Mercenaries from the Weapon Masters' Court and local lawsystems tend to conflict often, so this comes as no surprise.
Nevertheless the young Morporkian-born Agatean decided not to choose for bloody conflict and instead ended up doing Community Service in return for the small brawlings that had occured. He was sentenced to remove graffiti off the walls in the city. Together with a worn-down brush and an empty bucket, he went in search for some decent water and soap.
His fruitless search ended after hours, when he tossed the bucket on the floor and sagged down on the street, depressed. He realized that he was not going to get the job done in time and be too late to catch the carriage back to Escrow. However it was then that he met one of the Duchess Saturday's Musketeers, who politely told him:
Big trees with big roots, yet small trees don't break!
Which not only cheered up his day, but also made him look up to see who had spoken these words of a wise, old Kimori saying. He saw a big smile. A smile belonging to a musketeer girl who clearly had agatean blood in her veins. The name of this musketeer: Yossarianna.
She helped him out by finding some good water for cleaning the graffiti away. After removing the graffiti, they decided to stay in touch through albatross-mail and talk more by letter later as Taiki was forced to leave in a hurry due to the carriage he had to take back. (A carriage which in turn showed up too late.)
With the return of Yossarianna Kimori to the family, the mystery surrounding one of Lord Kimori's brothers has been solved. We are happy to announce that he was not killed, he instead took the wrong boat.
Ending up in Genua, cut off from his other relatives and unaware how they were doing, he decided to start life anew and wait for better times. Yossarianna Kimori, born on Genuan soil, is his proud daughter.

Kimori Family Clan Update.
Saturday, March 15, 2008
My roots are in the depths of the woods.
Originally born from Agatean descendants that came to Ankh-Morpork as tourists, (At least that's how the gossip goes.) Kimori has settled on Ankh-Morporkian soil as their new home. Although they don't shun to travel around the disc, they definitely have no intention to leave any time soon. Distinguishable by the dark blue tribal markings on their body, they are perhaps a bit odd and have their own quirk sayings like:
Is this the truth about Kimori? Or is there more to it?
Historical analysis of the past few hundred years reveals a line of new noblemen rising up from among the rubble that served the Agatean Emperor. A single man named Naoki was granted his title for his service to the Empire. This man, originating from the forests near the Mountains of the Sun adopted the name Kimori in honour of the large trees that grew there. The line prospered until a rough three decades ago when the snake nest known as politics resulted in the fall of the once mighty Kimori clan. Those who survived the bloodshed and annihalation, fled the Counter Weight Continent to seek refuge and rebuild their lives.
The Lord of the Kimori at the time survived and fled to the city of Ankh-Morpork with his wife. Most of their children were born on morporkian soil. The remaining Kimori sought contact with each other and tattooed their bodies with specific tribal markings in tribute to those who were slain in injustice.
More than ten years ago the Lord of the Kimori disappeared for good along with his wife and several other important Kimori. This was the deathstab to the once so great family. It is assumed they were assassinated, eventhough the bodies were never found. Those once loyal scattered for good. Any claim for nobility has been withdrawn by the Emperor, or as the officials state it:
It was not until the coming of age of one of the younger sons of Lord Kimori, Taiki Kiyoshi Naoki Kimori, that the activity of Kimori returned. Although the Morporkian-born Agatean does not posses any political ambition, he has gone great lengths to find any remaining or former Kimori left and re-unite them in his clan. Even using the tattoos as a symbolic bind between the individual members.
Only time can tell what will happen to Kimori, but one thing is sure: Wherever a Kimori comes from, a Kimori is always a Kimori. Fierce loyalty to the family is all that matters and united they shall stand.
"My roots are in the depths of the woods."Whatever that's supposed to mean.
Is this the truth about Kimori? Or is there more to it?
